Our Partner Ministries:

Refugee Ministry

  • We partner with Refugee Support Services in Charlotte as they help refugees, asylees, and other displaced people with legal status resettle in the Charlotte area. Their goal is to support asylees and refugees in finding a productive, comfortable, loving “fit” through programs that help build bridges between new arrivals from foreign lands and their Charlotte neighbors.

Flourish Kenya

  • Flourish Kenya is dismantling cycles of harm against children in rural Kenya by eradicating FGM, child marriage, and gender-based violence through Christ-centered reproductive health education, community advocacy, and crisis intervention programs.

We Love Kids

  • We Love Kids was founded by Joni Flye in 2004 to help prevent human trafficking and alleviate endemic poverty by helping children in Vietnam and Cambodia receive an education. We Love Kids offers a simple scholarship program that has helped over 2000 students who would otherwise “fall through the cracks.” Many have completed high school and some have gone on to university! They partner with local churches who oversee the students and present the gospel to them through VBS, youth activities, and local membership.

Land of a Thousand Hills Coffee

  • Drink Coffee. Do Good. Farmers in Rwanda, Thailand, and Haiti are making an adequate wage by harvesting some of the world’s best coffee beans. Partnering with Land of a Thousand Hills (LOTH) allows us to support their efforts and further their mission of creating purposeful work and cultivating flourishing communities. Greater Europe Mission

  • Marshall and Amy Childers serve in Stourbridge, England to revive the post-Christian culture in the UK through church planting and disciple making. They have partnered with local Christians to start a church which meets in their home. They use their gifts of hospitality to host teas, block parties, Bible studies, fellowship groups, kids’ clubs, and youth events along with weekly Sunday worship services. It is their heart and passion to see the United Kingdom ring aloud once more with the praises of God!

Lake Norman Pregnancy Center

  • The Community Pregnancy Center Of Lake Norman is a non-profit, inter-denominational ministry that seeks to serve Jesus Christ through ministering to those touched by possible crisis pregnancy, including the woman and her unborn child, by providing emotional and material support, as well as the personal knowledge of the grace and love of the Living Lord. They provide peer counseling, education, and support services using staff, trained volunteers and lay counselors, with the assistance of individuals and churches within the community.

Operation Christmas Child

  • The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world. Through this project, Samaritan’s Purse partners with the local church worldwide to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and make disciples of the nations.

Angel Wings Ministry

  • The Angel Wings Mission Team provides meals to those who are going through trying times, such as the birth of a new baby, hospitalization, a death in the family, etc. All are welcome to participate.

If you are looking for a new spot or just want to know other people more we’ll find the perfect fit for you at Good Shepherd Anglican Church.

  • This Sunday morning ministry bears the processional cross, assisting at the Communion table, and serving juice to the congregation. 

  • Cares for the altar, vestments, vessels, and altar linens.  

  • Facilitates worship by providing audio support.

  • Provides the foundational knowledge of scripture for preschool and elementary age attendees.

  • Handles the collection and offerings of the Church in accordance with sound accounting practices.

  • Provides fresh flowers to adorn the altar each week. Coordinates the memorial giving of flowers in honor of special occasions and loved ones.

  • Welcomes and assists those who come to worship, and provides a smooth operation within the service by inviting rows to come forward to receive communion.

  • Offers refreshments prior to worship service.

  • Offers prayer ministry during and after worship service to anyone who requests prayer.

  • Facilitates worship by reading scripture, leading prayers, and serving wine.

  • Leads the congregation in praise and worship through song.

  • Cares for children age 2 and under during worship service.

  • Facilitates ministries in worship by providing video support for online participants.
