Rest for Restless Hearts

I. The Divided Heart
The deepest struggle of humanity is not external but internal.
Paul exposes the war within (Romans 7:15–24).
Our hearts long for God but are entangled by sin.
II. The Gentle Invitation of Jesus
Christ does not drive sinners away; he calls them near.
“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden” (Matthew 11:28).
Jesus is gentle and lowly in heart and gives rest for our souls.
III. The Practice of Returning to Christ
Followers of Jesus are called to examine the condition of their hearts.
Rest is found not in distraction but in communion with Christ.
The Christian life is a continual rhythm of coming back to Jesus.
